Baumwolle Midwest Ranch Retreat is just 6 miles from the town of Bunker Missouri. Here you will find a Dollar General Store, G & S Gas and Minimart, and Wood's Dariette a family owned 4.8 star restaurant with a lot of personality (Cheeseburgers, Pizza, Milkshakes, and more). We are also near Tom Sauk Park, Devils Well, Sutton's Bluff, Johnson Shut Ins, and we are less than 35 miles to Salem Missouri, Echo Bluff, Loggers Lake, Eminence Floating in Eminence Missouri, Cave Springs , Akers Ferry, Welsch Spring, Montauk Missouri, and the Current River.
All reservations require a $100 deposit at time of booking. This is non-refundable for any cancellations within 30 days of the first day of the reservation.
A portion of the property is sectioned off as a Breeding Dog Kennel. We commonly have GSD puppies being cared for by their mother(s). Even though these are well-behaved and intelligent animals, we ask that they not be approached without our supervision.
Explore thousands of acres and many miles of forested roads adjacent to the property. Local swimming holes are at Suttons Bluff and CrossVille. Other swim spots are just 5 miles away in the west fork of the Black River. We have Paddle boats, a row boat and 2 "John Boats" for use. If you choose to use these DO request flotation devices! SWIMMING AT YOUR OWN RISK - NO LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY.
